Brandon Lucero Sold with Video

Brandon Lucero Sold with VideoBrandon Lucero Sold with Video founder, has been doing video production and YouTube marketing for about 7 years. He got his start when he was in college when he was living in Newport Beach. He started working on websites, building traffic to them and then selling the sites. Brandon dropped out of college to work for a video production company. After a short while, paychecks started to come in late and he knew that he had to do something else.

Brandon had to figure out a way to earn money without relying on someone else. In the last 12 months, Brandon’s business has generated over $700k. He’s been able to partner with successful entrepreneur’s like James Wedmore and many others that the Opiners are probably familiar with.

He is pretty much self taught. After spending countless hours editing videos for clients, Brandon knew that he had to do something in order to scale his business. He found video editors to help him so he could concentrate on the sales and marketing. Now, he has several editors helping him with the videos and he solely concentrates on building relationships and growing his business.

Making the Transition to Full Time Entrepreneur

Brandon LuceroThe last person to say that he was able to make this happen is because of his wife. Not only did she allow and support Brandon, she always gave him encouragement. There were times when Brandon made certain decisions that his wife didn’t really understand, but she held true and supported him. Brandon went on to describe how brave and caring his wife was to do this.

It was difficult for a time, but thanks to his wife’s parents, they gave them a place to stay rent free. Brandon doesn’t think he would have been able to do what he did without their help. Brandon felt guilty that he wasn’t in a position to support his wife, especially living with his in-laws.

YouTube MarketingIt was right around the two year mark when Brandon decided to reach out to a mentor. He avoided this because he thought he knew what he needed to do in order to be successful. Looking back at it now, he would have paid for it. His very first mentor was on a webinar that he did and offered to help him. Brandon thought his first mentor wanted something in return for helping him, but he didn’t.

Brandon listened well and his business took off. Brandon learned to focus more time on marketing and less time on service oriented items. He knew that he had the video editing down, but what good was this skillset without having customers. Together with his mentor, Brandon looked over the business plan and tweaked it to become what it is today.

A lot of people think you should stay away from your competition. Working with your competition can actually help you make more money. – Brandon Lucero

What is SoldwithVideo.com?

Sold with Video is a video marketing and production service. They find your audience online and convert the people they target into leads, traffic and sales by creating videos they know will convert at insanely high rates. Some of the videos they’ve created have converted as high as 45%. This means that 45% of the people that watch these videos, 45% are taking action by clicking on the link to enter the sales funnel.

How to Rank VideosThere are two things you want to do when beginning your video marketing (Brandon goes into incredible detail during the interview – you don’t want to miss this):

  • 1. The first thing is to figure out what you want to create the video about.
  • 2. The Call-to-Action (CTA) needs to be more relatable value.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.

What an awesome business! Finally, a way to hire the RIGHT person for my administrative tasks and they are remote! No office space to consider, W2's, 1099's or payroll. Jaime and his team of remote workers are top-notch! I hired my first assistant in May. I recently suffered a motorcycle accident and it left me unable to work for 2 weeks. But my assistant stepped right in to guide our CEO on all matters financial. It’s so nice to have that stress eliminated from my life!
