Jonathan Rivera The Podcast Factory
It wasn’t always about podcasting for Jonathan Rivera the Podcast Factory founder. Jonathan was super cool about coming on the show a second time due to a technical glitch. What a great sport. He quickly picked up the pieces to let the Opiners know more about him. He started out as a good boy should by getting a trade. He was an electrician for nearly ten years. He wanted a change and moved into the real estate market where he made a lot of money and lossed a lot of money.
He had a couple years where he was feeling bad about himself and then he luckily discovered podcasting that allowed him to build a better foundation for his business. Nowadays, he is working the four-hour work week on his rental business. He now has time to do some other things and he’s giving back to the community in the form of podcasting.
Jonathan has been so fortunate to have good people in his life. He wants to know how he can do more, not only in this lifetime, but after he leaves this life.
After a coaching session earlier in the week, Jonathan was able to really think about where he was in his life right now. He was eager to talk about his podcasting. He currently has three shows in which he is the executive producer for and another two that are in production.
He really enjoys bringing shows to life and the guys in his network. He thought he might have the white label production house on the back end to earn money, and it does, but his true passion is creating the shows and launching them. His friend and mentor, Darin Persinger, who co-hosts The Making Agents Rich Show, gave him a kick in the ass when he was screwing up. He said that he needed to focus on his real estate business when he got sidetracked messing around with social media. After refocusing, he quickly built up the business.
Another good friend and Ben Settle, host of the The Antipreneur Show, is one of the world’s best email copy writers. Jonathan said he used to not make much money online at all. After getting a sample of Ben’s email newsletter, Jonathan made $1,100 in one week. He took this immediate success to heart and purchased more tools from Ben. Everything he uses in his business is based on what he learned from Ben.
Doberman Dan, host of The Off the Chain Show podcast, is one of the world’s top direct response marketers, big in the fitness industry and really big in print advertising. Dan helped Jonathan set up a mail campaign that asked his renter’s to renew their lease. Before he knew it, he had a 90% renewal rate and $56,000 in renewal income.
The reason Jonathan was talking about this is because the Opiners are either solopreneurs or people thinking about leaving their jobs. Podcasting helped Jonathan out so much and he wants to give back and help more people quit their jobs. He’s learned so much from listening to different shows. He wants to equip people by living a happier and more fulfilling life. Jonathan helps people live more fulfilling lives by putting shows on his network. This is a tremendous way to ampligy their message and in turn, help more people.
Currently, the Podcast Factory Network is a delivery system of the direct response guys he’s worked with where he gives them a platform to share their message with the world. When asked how he came up with this concept, he answered by saying that is was a mistake… as a matter of fact he said “This was never meant to be a thing, Jaime”.
He makes a living off “The Making Agents Rich” show and really enjoys sharing the steps he’s been successful. If you aren’t subscribed to Ben Settle’s email list, Jonathan highly recommends it. The reason Jonathan mentions Ben Settle is because Jonathan was reading one of his emails and he read that one of Ben’s goals for the year was to start a podcast. Jonathan jumped at the opportunity to help Ben.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.
He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.
He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
