Jaime Jay got to interview Kristen Robinson. Yes, she is an amazing social media coach, but she is so much more. She learned social media after her regular job and as a military wife.
“When you face adversity, you definitely bloom and become very bright. Get out there, bloom, and you’ll be just fine.” -Kristen Robinson
Military Wife Becomes Entrepreneur
Kristen hails from Los Angeles. Because of her husband’s career in the Marines, they had to move every three years. It affected her own career.
That’s when she decided to start her own business, focusing on social media.
Helping Others Succeed
Other military wives saw what Kristen did. Even with her thriving business, she still had time with her family. That inspired them.
“I have done for you, done with you, and do it yourself.” -Kristen Robinson on providing social media marketing services to clients
She grabbed every opportunity to learn all about social media. Eventually, she was able to create a system that worked very well. Now, she is helping out other entrepreneurs achieve the same success.
Into Social Media Marketing
Kristen emphasizes the importance of practicing one’s craft. Particularly for her, she took what she had and learned in the process.
“Depending on what industry you are in, you have to practice. Otherwise, you will never know if what you learned really works.” -Kristen Robinson
From all the lessons she enlisted online about social media, she identified which worked and which didn’t. Typically she would spend two hours every night just to understand the materials available. Now, entrepreneurs benefit from her expertise as well.
