56 Matthew Pollard – The Rapid Growth Guy
Matthew Pollard The Rapid Growth Guy
Matthew Pollard came to Austin TX and the US via Melbourne, Australia where he had been wildly successful in outbound sales. So successful that he had built 5 multi-million dollar businesses before he was 30! He grew tired of running a staff of 50 plus and decided to focus on inbound sales. His drive came from the building of the businesses and not the running of them. Matthew Pollard the Rapid Growth Guy, found his passion was to help others build rapid growth companies rather than build them for himself.
Within the last 12 months Matthew has launched his website and achieved International Sales Blogger Hall of Fame status, launched his Twitter and is now the number 43 rated business coach to follow and his podcast Better Business Coach reached New and Noteworthy within 24 hours on three continents in audio and video format.
Matthew is motivated by what he loves and not by money. Seeing others succeed through his rapid growth strategies is what gets him up in the morning.
Matthew Pollard – Define What Success Means to You
Matthew has his clients write down three measurable and time-based business goals and three personal goals with one being incredibly selfish because that is that one that is going to drive you.
Then summarize your goals in 250 words including why it is important to you. This is where you will discover what is truly important and what you only thought was important. This is vital to your success according to Matthew Pollard the Rapid Growth Guy.
Having your goals quick and easy to read is absolutely vital. – Matthew Pollard
Overcoming Obstacles – Matthew Pollard
Matthew Pollard shares how he breaks his barrier for reading and writing. Matthew had a reading and writing speed of 6th grade when he graduated high school. To overcome his reading difficulties, he listens to 3 audio books and 30 podcasts per week. Matthew writes a huge amount of content and uses a text to voice technology to review it to overcome his inhibitors. If Matthew can overcome his reading and writing difficulties, he says anyone can overcome their own difficulties.
Matthew lost his first job out of high school right before the 3 week Christmas Holiday. The only job he could find was a challenging commission only sales job. Matthew was highly introverted but his back was to a wall and he needed to make money. He knocked on 93 doors before making his first sale. When he realized he had to do it all over again the next day he had an epiphany that he was in charge of his own destiny.
Over the next 6 weeks, Matthew Pollard, the Rapid Growth Guy used YouTube to learn every step to a sale. Matthew become the number one sales performer in the number one sales and marketing company in the southern hemisphere in that 6 weeks.
Matthew says to stop making excuses because you are not gifted. Sales is not a gift, it’s a learnable skill. Marketing is not a gift it is a learnable skill. Knowing what you want in life isn’t something that you have been blessed with, it takes work. We all have skills that we are stronger in. We should not make excuses for our weaknesses, we should just go out and acquire them.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.
He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.
He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
