Rebecca Gill
Rebecca Gill is a seasoned SEO expert and is the Owner of Web Savvy Marketing. Today, she shares her journey and insights into how businesses can keep going and attract more clients in the long run.
“It’s making incremental changes over time that together make your site more user-friendly and easier for the search engines.” – Rebecca Gill
Marketing Over the Years
Rebecca has spent over 15 years in the marketing industry. She’s done both traditional and digital marketing. Her company, Web Savvy Marketing, has been operating for over 9 years.
Today, she gives others the opportunity to learn more about search engine optimization (SEO). Her resources include a few online courses, a podcast, and a mastermind group.
6 Figures in 6 Months
Rebecca had another company that she loved for a long time. But because of the many changes that transpired, she accidentally mixed her medication and landed in the ER.
“It’s not a path that I would’ve taken, but I’m very thankful that I did because it has been a beautiful 9 years.” – Rebecca Gill
It led her to do freelance SEO and eventually have her own agency. Even it was during the recession period, she managed to achieve a 6-figure salary within 6 months. She wrote optimized blogs and shared them on social media, particularly on LinkedIn.
People from her previous industry discovered her and offered her a couple of work opportunities.
What is good SEO?
Rebecca upholds 3 primary SEO principles. The first thing is that SEO is a process. It is a process with multiple steps.
“SEO is incremental changes and Google sets that themselves.” – Rebecca Gill
The other thing is the user experience. Search engines want to produce a quality user experience for people and reward websites that have that. It is about doing the right thing for the human visitor.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.
He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.
He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
