Allocating Resources with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week in Review
On this episode, Jaime and Sara talk about how you can overcome challenges with what you have. In order to do that, one must learn how important properly allocating their resources can be.
Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, as they talk about the week that passed and the challenges that they’ve faced, as well as implementation of things for the future of the company and for the viewers.
Allocating Resources
The conversation starts off with Jaime asking Sara what her definition of “Allocating Resources”. Sara replies:
“Allocating resources means using what we have to achieve or complete a project, or to overcome challenges. It is to use what we have and not have to go out and get new resources” – Sara Knox
Jaime agrees, and adds that for him, Allocating Resources is simply another word for delegation. It is also something that should be managed properly in any business. And resources could be multiple things: from your time, your company’s manpower, or the tools that you use.
What Happened This Week?
Jaime wrapped up his year-long commitment with Bunker Labs for CEO Circles, and he was very happy with the result, and had fun in the process.
Jaime also devised some of the objectives for the 3rd quarter, and is excited as they work to implement it in the months to come.
Sara has been working with Gordon McDougall on a little side-project, which fits into the theme of this week of allocating resources. Gordon and Sara are thinking on how to take the current resources of Bottleneck, and apply it to a different model or approach for business to see if it is feasible. But for now, it’s top secret, according to Sara.
What’s Coming Up?
Jaime and Sara talk about Go High Level, the new CRM that Bottleneck will be using in the future. For now, the team will be limit-testing it, and see as to what limits they could take it. As Sara puts it, “We are going to break it.”
As all of that is happening, the team is continuously migrating files and data, to ensure that there are no data loss or mismatch when the transition finally happens.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He’s a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that’s just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He’s the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book “Quit Repeating Yourself” has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he’s not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress. He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater. He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
