Almost Died with Jamie and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week in Review

On this episode of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara talk about how encountering challenges can get the blood pumping and make you feel alive.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, as they talk about the week that passed and the challenges that they’ve faced, as well as implementation of things for the future of the company and for the viewers.

Almost Died

Jaime and Sara talks about a close call with the tractor they were using in their continuing construction work at their property. Jaime adds that it certainly got his blood pumping, but also made him realize something.

“It’s kind of funny how it takes incidents like that every once in a while, to remind yourself that you’re indeed alive.” – Jaime Jay

Sometimes we get so set in our ways, that it’s almost like we are on autopilot. Moments like this, and also happy events, can take us out of that monotony, and help us appreciate and see the smaller exciting things happening in life.

What Happened This Week?

Besides the tractor incident, there were a few issues with client miscommunication with the DAs, but Jaime and Sara were able to quickly clear stuff out by talking to the parties involved.

“All it takes is a phone call to clear up what happens. Because so much is missed in a text message or an email. Sometimes you get an email and t he person that is sending the email is either in a hurry or very emotional at the moment, or they weren’t able to read it through.” – Sara Knox

There are also things that they probably could not discuss in such emails, so it is ideal to set time to contact them and get the proper context.

It also helps to talk to both sides separately to get their point of view, and to understand where the miscommunication may have come from.

What’s Coming Up?

Jaime talks about Bottleneck’s targets for this quarter, and how close the team are in hitting it.

One of which is the Bottleneck Academy, which we have launched recently. There’s also the matter of workflow documentation for the whole team, which will detail different tasks and assignments, in case someone has to carry the load for someone who is out on leave, or for an easier onboarding experience.

But the biggest task is our current migration of the CRM from Hubspot to Go High Level, as it all has to be finished before the end of May.

Jaime and Sara also talk about new pricing options regarding ISP, to make our services more appealing for new and current clients.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
