Are you going to be a 10er%? Is your company part of the 10% that is going to be in a better position than before after this pandemic is done?
In today’s A Week In Review with Jaime and Sara, we dive into how to become a 10%er. Together, they share their personal and professional challenges, updates, and the exciting things on what’s to come in Bottleneck Distant Assistants.
Definition of the 10%
Sara and Jaime discuss the factors that can make you a part of the top 10%, an idea that came from the bright mind of the legendary Christopher Lochhead. In March of 2020, when the coronavirus started, there was a huge decline in businesses and a lot of people were growing worried of the uncertainty. Through all these challenges, Bottleneck Distant Assistants took advantage of the time, made the company better, and shared more about who it was
The 10%er are the top 10% of organizations that are going to be in a better position after this pandemic.
“We revised our processes. We did a lot of stuff so that we could be part of that top 10% of the organizations that would flourish after this pandemic. This 10% will be companies that are in a better position financially, culturally, operationally, and etc. I’m proud to say that Bottleneck Distant Assistants is already part of that.” – Jaime Jay
Challenges Faced This Week
There have been a lot of personal and professional challenges Jaime and Sara have faced this week. Jaime reveals that transparency and realizing that one can be open and share the things they struggle with is an important part of overcoming their challenges.
Sara sheds positivity as she shares an interesting story about an old $10 bill Jaime has found, as well as her frustration on porch pirates.
“It just seems like a lot of stuff is building up but this season, isn’t it? These challenges happen and we just need to get over them. We are in the 10% because we know that we’ll get to where we want to go. Though, nevertheless, this week has been crazy and frustrating. So that’s our week in review” – Jaime Jay
