Building Roads with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week in Review

On this episode of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara talk about building roads. Not just the ones they’re building at home, but what it means in business.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, as they talk about the week that passed and the challenges that they’ve faced, as well as implementation of things for the future of the company and for the viewers.

Building Roads

The topic for the week came from their on-going home improvement projects that got Jaime and Sara thinking about the parallels of metaphorically building roads in your business.

One of the things that Jaime emphasize is that not unlike building a physical road, you need to plan ahead and not just start digging as soon as possible. Building a road map for future plans and projects can help you allocate resources and time for specific things, much like estimating how much material and man-hours will be spent in creating that road.

That’s really what you need: a target goal or destination, and knowing what you need to get there. Planning ahead will save you tons of time and effort, as well as a good response to obstacles that you have anticipated ahead.

What Happened This Week?

One of the exciting things that happened this past couple of weeks was that Jaime hosted a Live with Bottleneck episode, and all the guests were our very own Dedicated DAs! Jaime and Sara think that it was a good insight as to what our DDAs really do for our clients, as well as display the culture and range of talents that we offer.

The Bottleneck Academy was also launched, and it now features trainings for remote customer service representatives, personal assistants, and project directors. We are also working hard to expand that to cover other specializations that Dedicated DAs can handle.

What’s Coming Up?

This coming week will be the observance of Holy Week in the Philippines, which means our Filipino DAs will be out for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. With covid restrictions becoming lighter and people not seeing their families for months if not almost a year now, a lot of our team expressed their intention of taking advantage of this long weekend to spend time with their families.

On Jaime and Sara’s end, they are planning a few more events that will give back to the community. More details about it soon, but for now they are talking to people who want to collaborate and such.

To hear more from Jaime and Sara, and learn how you can build better roads in your business, continue listening to this episode.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
