Built-on Redundancy with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review

In today’s Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara talk about having built-in redundancies in your system. Specifically, having a way to shoulder burdens when one of your team members are not available.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10 am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review as they talk about what they’ve learned in the previous week and different things they are going to implement moving forward with the hopes that you might pick something up along the way to improve your life, your relationships, and achieve your dreams.

Built-in Redundancies

In terms of security, it is always good to have built-in redundancies. Should your system go out or there’s a potential breach, you can rely on those redundancies to restore them and keep your operations running.

The same could be said for your team. While members of your team each has their own specialized tasks, most of them are probably aware or have experience of their teammate’s tasks. Having a detailed workflow also helps, as they have a streamlined process to follow in case they have to take over for someone who’s sick or has an emergency.

What Happened This Week?

It’s still January, which means it is freezing where Jaime and Sara are.

This past week, Jaime has been busy pulling things together and building more relationships and reaching out to new networks for partnerships to expand Bottleneck even further.

There were also issues with communication in the past week, so Jaime and Sara were glad that it got sorted out.

Sara has been working on streamlining the payroll system by looking into API integrations for Veem, which is a payment portal they use for international payments on employee payrolls.

What’s Coming Up?

Next week will be more updates on the Bottleneck system securities. They’ll still have meetings to go through to iron out the workflows for it, and they’re going to be planning out what happens from step A-Z when another situation like a security breach occurs in the future.

Bottleneck is doing this to make sure that our data and our client’s data are secure, so that they will be comfortable sharing such information with us. It gives them the confidence that their data will not be stolen.

With most of us working remotely from our own home networks, it is important to have an extra layer of security to protect information as it goes through the net.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
