Latest tips and strategies for leveraging your distributed workforce

Caring in the Workplace | Ron Pietosi

One of the reasons why employees leave a company was 79 percent of the time they feel unappreciated. Employee empowerment is essential in the workplace because it helps them boost their productivity and motivation to work. Who would not want happy and healthy employees?

Ron Pietosi is here with us to talk about the best things that you could do for your employees.

Caring for The Employees

Ron says that caring in the workplace is not just for the employees but also for their families. Ron shares that they have an application called the Chap App. It is an app where the employees can communicate with the Chaplains whenever they need to.

We also understand that our chaplains are not supermen and women. We have other resources that we have in each of the communities we serve in. If it’s above our head or pay grade, we go ahead, and we point them in the right direction, but we’re there to help walk through the to walk life out with them if that makes sense. – Ron Pietosi

Helping People with Depression and Anxiety

Ron shares that they have seen many people struggling with depression and anxiety this past nine months.  He says that it is easy to miss out on those unless you have somebody that their sole purpose is to care for the employees. He is glad because their chaplains helped people walk through their lives and prevent possibilities of suicide.

That’s the kind of model that we have as we build relationships. They’re gonna share things with us, and they’re gonna notice things.  – Ron Pietossi

EAP and Chaplains

Most of the companies have an employee assistance program where employees reach out whenever they encounter problems. Ron says that having that program is good, but Chaplains are more active because they offer a deeper connection. Also, Ron says that Chaplains can help increase the utilization rate of EAP.

We’re able to help increase the utilization rate if we know what their EAP is, and they share it with us. We want to become part of that company’s culture, so if we find that out, we can point the employees to that EAP as well.” – Ron Pietosi

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He’s a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that’s just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He’s the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book “Quit Repeating Yourself” has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he’s not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress. He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater. He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
