Expert or Pundit? with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review

On this episode of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara talk about the difference between being an Expert and a Pundit, and when is the right time to consult with either.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10 am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, as they talk about the week that passed and the challenges that they’ve faced, as well as the implementation of things for the future of the company and for the viewers.

Expert or Pundit?

Jaime defines Experts as people who have experience in the field, and their knowledge comes from those experiences. A Pundit is a learned person, someone academically-inclined, but might derive their information from 2nd or 3rd hand source.

Jaime adds that there are certain times when you would prefer to consult one over the other, but most people prefer experts due to their experience.

What Happened This Week

The topic of Experts and Pundits came up when Jaime talked with Doug Thorpe on the latest episode of Live with Bottleneck. The conversation made Jaime realize that as the years go by, he’s slowly turning from being a pundit to an expert in distant assistance.

As he has been in the trenches and learning what to do vs what not to do in the business, he is becoming more qualified to consult on what a person needs from their remote personal assistants.

What’s Coming Up

Jaime and Sara talk about increasing sales and getting their messaging out there in ways that more people will know and understand why they need a distant assistant, especially if the looming threat of recession comes to pass.

Jaime points out that having at least 10% of your workforce working from home, it costs less overhead, and it has been proven that there are some professions that work more efficiently while working from home.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He’s a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that’s just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He’s the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book “Quit Repeating Yourself” has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he’s not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress. He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater. He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
