Filling in the Holes with Jaime and Sara
In any business, there are certain aspects that might be missing, or needs to be fixed. It could be a non-intuitive workflow, optimizing your website, or other small details that got overlooked. Almost like filling in the holes you find in your boat.
In today’s A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara discuss some of the things that they have done to address such things at Bottleneck.
What Happened This Week: Optimizing Our System
Sara talks about one of the things that she is working on, which is optimizing the payment options for clients. This helps with lessening any confusion on payment, and adding even more security when handling client information.
Jaime follows up on this by highlighting the importance of making the process more streamlined and automated. It makes the initial account engagement with the client much easier for both parties. So rather than having to go back and forth and manually collecting the information, this new portal will provide the clients with an easier and secure way to sign in, almost like subscribing to Netflix, so to speak.
Update on Jaime’s New Book, Quit Repeating Yourself
Jaime gives a brief update on the status of his new book, Quit Repeating Yourself, which will hit the stores by early September, 2021.
It is currently a waiting game on Jaime’s part, as he is waiting for updates from his publisher before he starts marketing it to the public. For those who are interested in the book, you can visit this website, QuitRepeatingYourself.com. We will post updates and previews of the book there when it comes flying out the shelves.
What’s Coming Up?
Jaime and Sara share their plan for filling in the holes, which is a never-ending task for any business. It’s an important task that must be done to keep everything running smoothly all the time, and ensure that everything is working in sync.
As for particulars, the highest priority right now, besides the payment portal, is the brand-new onboarding for clients. This includes a guide to our processes in Bottleneck, as well as what a Distant Assistant can do to boost their business, and if they’re ready for one.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.
He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.
He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
