In the Thick of It with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week in Review

On this episode of Live with Bottleneck: A Week in Review, Jaime and Sara talk about being in the thick of it all, as Bottleneck is going through some operational changes and updates, and can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, as they talk about the week that passed and the challenges that they’ve faced, as well as implementation of things for the future of the company and for the viewers.

In the Thick of It

Jaime talks about the feeling of being in the thick of things, and how overwhelming having 50 million things going on.

But at the same time, the feeling you get after finally finishing everything, or launching a product or service that you have been working on, is quite amazing. You may end up being metaphorically battered and bruised, but it feels like it was all worth it in the end.

What Happened This Week

Go High Level is up and running, and there are no issues so far. For those who don’t know, Go High Level is a Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool that we use to communicate with clients and coordinate tasks and instructions from them. Bottleneck recently migrated from Hubspot, which is what the team has been using for quite some time now.

We anticipated some issues with the migration, as you always do, but surprisingly, it was as smooth-sailing as it could be.

Aside from the financials and whatnot being sorted out, another ongoing thing was the Bottleneck Academy, which is starting to have its first few waves of trainees graduating and being ready for clients to choose from.

What’s amazing about this is that it widens the pool of potential DAs, so that clients can have a pick of the talents they need, and get to choose a DA based on their skill sets and initial overall impressions.

What’s Coming Up

More migrations are coming in the upcoming weeks, as Bottleneck is looking for a new webhosting service, as well as VOIP services that we use for the DAs to call the clients. Of course, everything is still business as usual, as the current one is still on use until testing and finetuning of the new one is done.

Jaime is also launching a new eBook soon, called The State of Delegation: A Definitive Guide to Hiring a Distant Assistant. So turn on the notifications for our socials as we will announce it there, as well as in our upcoming Live with Bottleneck episodes when it goes out!

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
