Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review. They talk about what happened the previous week, and discuss what will be happening in the following week, as well as things to implement to inspire a better future for all.

Making Tough Decisions Is Tough

With the way things are going, making a tough decision usually involves a few last minute changes that can be pretty hard on some people. These changes can make a huge impact on their work, on their free time, and on other factors in their lives.

“It’s like taking a right turn at 90 miles an hour, we didn’t slow down, and it was pretty wild,” – Jaime Jay

Jaime talks about how impacting these changes were on their business, since they’ve had to make full stops and u-turns on software. It’s a good thing that everyone rallied around the changes and made for a great team effort to overcome what happened.

What Happened This Week

Bottleneck Distant Assistants lost a few clients this week, ones that have been around since the company’s inception. Business has been a little slow, perhaps due to inflation brought upon by the impending recession.

Bottleneck’s social media has picked up already, which is perfect because there’s so much content that needs to be put out there. Jaime was able to meet a few people and build long-lasting professional relationships, which he acknowledges will help the company in the long run.

What’s Coming Up

Jaime has gotten a few new clients on board, which he’s excited about. He’s also come up with a cool new program for partnerships with Bottleneck, and is recruiting people who wants to become a Bottleneck partner.

They’re also writing a book, and it’s called Quit Repeating Yourself. Jaime says that it’s not his book alone, but a collaboration of all the experiences of the people they’ve ever talked to.

He talks in detail about the contents of the book, but there’s so much more to it, especially Sara’s input, that what Jaime revealed aren’t much of spoilers.

It’s all about systems and processes and workflows, but Jaime talks about it in the book in such an interesting way that you’d find yourself turning the page for more information.

To hear more from Jaime and Sara, and how making a tough decision is tough for all parties involved, continue listening to this episode.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
