MEET GLENDA | A Week in Review with Jaime and Sara

It can be hard on business owners when they have to do everything by themselves. Dealing with current clients while looking out for potential ones will leave anyone too stretched out on either side. This is why it was a great weight off Jaime and Sara’s shoulders when Glenda joined the team.

In today’s A Week in Review with Jaime and Sara, Glenda Acevedo shares her experience so far in Bottleneck. They also discuss how Bottleneck does systems and processes for the team and their clients. You might also be interested in hearing how we find that Rockstar Distant Assistant for your business.

Who is Glenda?

Jaime and Sara start the discussion by giving a brief description of Glenda’s background in Sales. Also hailing from corporate, Glenda brings her expertise in bringing new clients that she thinks will benefit from our service.

So if you are thinking of getting a personal assistant, contact Glenda today and see if Bottleneck is the right fit for you.

“Let our assistants come into your business. Let them support you so that you can get back to doing your best work and focusing on growing your business. That’s why we are here.: – Glenda Acevedo

Increasing Efficiency through Workflows

Glenda shares her experience on the first weeks of working with the Bottleneck Team. She describes how easy it was to feel at ease with her work. The Office Culture certainly plays a part in this, but there was something else that she was pleasantly surprised about.

According to Glenda, having well-documented workflows and processes helped her learn about her job role and other related tasks faster than she expected. Having details recorded and possible situations mapped out certainly helps when you are dealing with a diverse clientele. With that on hand, Glenda got to leading meetings with potential clients as soon as possible.

If having your workflows and processes mapped out for your business piques your interest, Bottleneck’s Distant Assistants can do that too! Talk to Glenda on how you can benefit from having a well-documented workflow in your business today!

“Our company is the perfect candidate for businesses, (for example) those who want customer service agents. If you do not have a sales process in place, allow us to help you with that. We can go in, and you tell us what your workflows and processes are. Our Distant Assistant can help you create the training before you even hire your CSRs. Hire one personal assistant and get your workflows sorted out, and we can even supply the assistance for you to answer customer calls. We can do all that for you, whatever industry you’re in.” – Glenda Acevedo

Finding that Rockstar Assistant for You

Jaime brings up the topic of clients looking for Rockstar Assistants that are ready to go once they are hired. Glenda describes the process on how they source potential candidates using information that the client provided. When they find and finish vetting a candidate, they set up a meeting to see if said client approves of the candidate.

As for not training them, Glenda stresses that training is an important part of making the whole process work. Even seasoned assistants can’t help you if they haven’t been trained on your workflows. Also, if they don’t have time to get used to a client’s mannerisms and tone, your customers can easily tell the difference.

“After training them, they will be very efficient at their job because they’ve learned the way you do things and they are following your lead. They understand your voice, your point of view, and your values, so they can respond just as though it was you because they spend enough time with you. After working for you for some time, customers won’t even be able to tell the difference if it’s you or your DA that’s replying to them.” – Glenda Acevedo

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He’s a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that’s just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He’s the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book “Quit Repeating Yourself” has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he’s not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress. He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater. He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
