On today’s Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara talk about moving forward through accountability. We will also talk about how accountability helps keep everything running smoothly and everyone motivated in the company.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10 am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review as they talk about what they’ve learned in the previous week and different things they are going to implement moving forward with the hopes that you might pick something up along the way to improve your life, your relationships, and achieve your dreams.

Moving forward through Accountability

Jaime explains how accountability is very important for moving forward in a company, whether as a stepping stone for growth, or simply creating a good system and environment for the company.

“I think accountability is very important. It sets you up for taking steps to move forward and then holding yourself and having others hold you accountable for the objectives that you’re trying to achieve.”

What Jaime does is he checks himself every week, to see if he has been accountable for the tasks and objectives that he has set for himself. Of course, there are objectives that will take more than a week or even a month, but it can be quite motivating to see progress each time you check to see how you are doing.

What Happened this Week?

This week has been all about training new people in Bottleneck!

New people have joined the team, and that’s good news for both Jaime and Sara. For Jaime, this means a new personal assistant, as his previous PA is moving up the ladder and taking on new and bigger roles in Bottleneck. For Sara, she finally has an assistant that can help her handle the financial side of the business.

This means they can both delegate more tasks, and have more time to improve the business, or simply have some much-deserved downtime once in a while.

What’s Coming Up?

Aside from the upcoming Bottleneck Hockey Fundraiser that’s coming soon, Jaime and Sara have a few business objectives lined up for next week.

For Sara, aside from training her new assistant, it’s more tidying up on the accounts and finding out more about hedged ETFs.

For Jaime, he is working on shaping up on the Bottleneck security program, as Bottleneck seeks to reinforce its defense against cyberattacks and hacking, to better protect the team and the clients who trust Bottleneck with their information.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
