René Murata is the CEO of Risk Integrity Safety Knowledge Inc. and CEO Essence. She is a Transformational Leadership coach who knows a think or two about guiding people with purpose and compassion.

Who is René Murata?
René Murata comes to us from Italy, where she has been living in for the past two and a half years. But aside from that, she has been to different countries before, as work demanded it.
“My business, Risk Integrity Safety Knowledge, I’ve travelled around the world for that. I’ve been to China, Brazil, and other parts of the world for work.” – René Murata
When her husband suggested moving to Italy, she was all for it, provided that there was access to good internet, and it was close to the airport, in case she needs to travel again. On their spare time, they love spending it in the slopes, as there are a lot of ski resorts available to them within an hour’s drive.

When asked how CEO Essence came to be, René shares a story on her previous work in the refinery world in California.
“As a woman in a very male-dominated environment, it was challenging at best and frustrating at worst. So there were days that some of the other women that I worked with didn’t even acknowledge that I existed. I felt like we were so few in number that we should be working together and helping each other out, but it didn’t work out that way.” – René Murata
After moving to another company, she noticed that it was pretty much the same setup, and even sometimes worse that her old one. So she decided to start her own company in gas and oil, but it focused on the safety business.
But even then, she struggled with what type of leadership to establish in the company, because all her prior experience were of those less-than-desirable ones. She knew that she wanted something different, but could not figure out what that “different” is.
The AHA Moment for CEO Essence
So Renéwent about to find her idea of a good leadership, and how she could implement it in her own business. There were a lot of testing and recognizing what did and did not work.
But the idea for CEO Essence came to her from a friend in the health and wellness industry, who wanted to learn more about leadership, so she can prepare for her planned wellness center.
“I realized that I had learned and done so much shifting and moving around and trying new things, that I had figured out that I was no longer living in that very distorted negative energy. Instead, I had figured out a way to really step into that more positive divine, sacred kind of energy, and lead from that place.” – René Murata
So it became René’s goal to help women who want to step into leadership roles achieve those goals, and become more outspoken in their chosen fields and categories.
