Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance

It’s pretty obvious that planning is important for every business. Without any plan, it can be hard to do anything with confidence.

Which is why it is important to properly plan out your objectives and goals for the company, before going headfirst into things. Doing your research, getting input from different parts of the business, especially those who will be affected by these plans is crucial.

So what most people do is go into meetings, sort out what needs to be done, and create a call-to-action for said things. However, what most people forget, and we are also guilty of this sometimes, is that they fail to follow-up on those call-to-actions. So you also have to work on doing that as well.

What Happened This Week?

This has been a crazy week for Jaime and Sara. Jaime shares that he has had at least 40 meetings this week. That is because there was so much things to coordinate. Reina, Jaime’s DA, was just promoted as the director of operations, so Jaime is working hand-in-hand to sort out the tasks and responsibilities that she will be handling from now on.

Another chunk of those meetings was with Jovelyn, who is taking on the role of systems administrator. So we are taking the time to get everyone up to speed, and meeting with them to receive updates and answer any questions they might have.

Aside from that, we are also working on improving our systems, from our CMS to how we can get quality DAs for our clients as soon as they need it. All of this work is to streamline our hiring process, without sacrificing quality and training for our DAs.

What’s Coming Up?

Jaime and Sara are travelling! This time, it’s to visit some of our clients to sit down and find out what they like about our services, and what they think we need to improve upon. So it’s a little workcation, and we are very excited for it! If nothing else, it will be warmer for us for the next week or so.

With regards to proper planning, this is one thing that we have prepared for. Even if the team is not able to contact us for a period of time, we have processes and workflows on how to proceed with certain situations and whatnot. Sufficed to say, we can leave the house without worrying it will burn down while we are away.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
