Top 10 List with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review

In today’s Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Jaime and Sara talk about their top 10 lists, and why is it important.

Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10 am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review as they talk about what they’ve learned in the previous week and different things they are going to implement moving forward with the hopes that you might pick something up along the way to improve your life, your relationships, and achieve your dreams.

Why Top 10 Lists are Important

The conversation starts off with Jaime and Sara naming their top 10 list for sports, vacations, and recent events that had happen to them.

So why are these lists important? Jaime explains that in a business standpoint, it is a good idea to have a list of the best performers in your industry excluding your own. You can then gauge where you are in that list, so you know what you are doing better than those below you, and what you can improve on to match those on top.

It also helps with credibility and building connections, as you acknowledge fellow business leaders in the same industry, rather than touting that you are the best all the time.

What Happened This Week?

Jaime was able to get a lot of things done this week. He had great discussions with amazing people and was able to learn a lot on stuff about scaling the business for growth. He was able to frame this year’s activities and achievements as growth in the infrastructure point of view, so we can grow better next year.

Sara has been meeting with the team all week, particularly in handling the DDATC, which is a training certification module that we will be launching to help current and aspiring DAs in figuring out the work and culture required of a Distant Assistant.

They have also tweaked the messaging to clients as a way to set proper expectations. Because sometimes as the desire to please clients and rope in new ones, there is a tendency to overpromise and underdeliver. We want to curb than, or better yet, do better.

What’s Coming Up?

The Integrated Services Program is getting ready to relaunch along with our Subscription Portal (Sportal). Bottleneck also launched its own Partnership Program, which will go live on the 15th of November.

The DDATC will also be launching on the 15th of November, so there are a lot of things happening this Novermber.

We also have a new Team Member coming in soon, so be on the look out for that!

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
