Comfort is The Death of Growth
The only way to get past hesitation brought by fear is to do something that makes one feel uncomfortable. James discusses how fear is usually the product of worst-case scenarios made by the brain that probably won’t happen anyways. He encourages everyone to look past the fear.
“People don’t like doing things that they are uncomfortable with, even though they know that’s what’s going to make them successful. The comfort zone is literally the death of growth. This is why I encourage people to do something every day that challenges them a bit. These can be things that make you better, feel uncomfortable, or whatever it is. It can even be something little and something small.” – James Elliot
Big Vision: Who Do You Want To Be?
Oftentimes, we have these negative voices at the back of our heads telling us to become different things for different people. James encourages everyone to take a step back and ask if this is what we want to do, or rather do we want to live for ourselves and do what we want to do.
The big vision to write down is who we want to be and how can we achieve that. This is a powerful intake on how one can begin their journey to unleashing their full potential.

It’s a great way to determine the man or woman you’ve always wanted to become. Then when you’ve written all these down, you can continue to write, there are no wrong answers. You can do this for as long as you want and then, when you’re ready, think to yourself, okay, what’s the first step.” – James Elliot
