If you want to know more about what it means to be a dedicated Distant Assistant, stay tuned to this episode.
Who are our Team Members?
Crystal Tumapang is the current Project Coordinator for Bottleneck Distant Assistants. She is experienced in customer support and virtual assistance. She loves remote work because she is able to maintain a good balance between work and her personal life.
Yms Reyes used to be a Talent Acquisition Specialist and Recruitment Manager at Bottleneck, but now, she is the new Director of Recruitment. She is currently getting her Masters degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology.
Michaela Gonzales prefers to be called Ela. She is Jaime Jay’s new Personal Assistant. Her past work experience includes reception, administration, and personal support for senior managers abroad, specifically in Dubai. She has 2 children with whom she spends time during her days off.
Jeralyn Maningo has had quite the experience as a virtual assistant, and now, she is the new Talent Acquisition Specialist at Bottleneck. She also has her own food business which she takes care of on her times off.
Reina Adlawon is the Director of Operations. She used to be Jaime Jay’s personal assistant and Product Manager. Reina is a registered nurse by profession, but her tangent is now in the virtual assistance niche. She also has her own skin care business.
What is it like being a DDA?
The ladies talk about being a Dedicated Distant Assistant. They also talk about the difference between a virtual assistant and a distant assistant. They share their experiences with the company and how they’ve grown personally and professionally while working at Bottleneck Distant Assistants.
Reina says that some virtual assistants jump from one project to another, and can have several clients at once. However, being a Dedicated Distant Assistant means that you only have one client, and that there are a clear set of tasks laid for you to focus on.
Being a Dedicated Distant Assistant means that the client and the DDA will be able to share goals. The team members at Bottleneck Distant Assistants are able to share insights and opinions with one another, and there is little to no hierarchy. Jaime and the rest of the team openly communicate with one another, and it eliminates the fear of being able to talk to your client or boss.
If you want to know more about being a DDA, or if you want to try it for yourself, continue watching this episode.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He’s a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that’s just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He’s the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book “Quit Repeating Yourself” has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he’s not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress. He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater. He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
