You’re Killing Me, Smalls with Jaime and Sara | Live with Bottleneck: A Week in Review
On this episode of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, Sara talks about proper communication, and how sometimes, you end up sending the wrong message to your clients and your team.
Join Jaime and Sara live every Friday at 10am CT for this special edition of Live with Bottleneck: A Week In Review, as they talk about the week that passed and the challenges that they’ve faced, as well as implementation of things for the future of the company and for the viewers.
You’re Killing Me, Smalls
Sara talks about communication, and the frustration of not being able to communicate effectively at times.
“Do you ever feel yourself getting frustrated, like “oh my god, can’t you read my mind right now?””
It’s because sometimes we are not communicating properly, that the other person doesn’t understand, and can misinterpret instructions or your intentions, which leads to problems down the road.
Another example Sara gives is about company messaging, and how you may not be sending out the right message to potential clients. This could lead to them not understanding what your company offers, or expecting something that isn’t covered by your services in the first place.
What Happened This Week
Sara talks about how having a bookkeeping assistant has helped her take a step back from the business and focus on the personal aspect of her and Jaime’s life. It has also allowed her to flesh out some ideas that they have for the business.
On the business side of things, The Automated Sales Process is coming up, and it has been exciting so far, what with how it is developing as we speak.
There were also a few updates such as the migration from Hubspot to Go High Level CRM, but there have been no issues to date.
Shoutouts
Sara gives the Bottleneck Team a huge shoutout for keeping the ship afloat as they were taking a few days of vacation the past week.
Having the opportunity to just take a few days off and relax is very important for your physical and mental health, so it’s nice that they could take some time off and not have to worry about work, and more importantly, not be swamped when they come back from it.

About Jaime Jay
Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He’s a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.
Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that’s just the beginning of his many accomplishments.
He’s the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book “Quit Repeating Yourself” has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.
When he’s not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress. He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater. He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
