Cyber Security for Everyone
It’s important that small business owners and entrepreneurs realize how important cyber security is. It’s not the most glamorous part of the business process but it’s important to take the time to safeguard your company.
“70% of employees exhibit risky behavior….by clicking on something they shouldn’t.” – Adam Anderson
Most business owners think it’s going to be expensive and difficult and they don’t ignore it but they choose to focus on something else. Adam says it’s hard to fault someone for wanting to focus on revenue because sales will solve a lot of problems.
Cyber security does not have to be difficult or scary as you might think. There are lots of things you can do to safeguard yourself.
Safeguarding Your Business
You’re never going to be 100% safe, but you can protect yourself to the point of you don’t care if you’re attacked. The key is to have the ability to get back up and running in a day or so. That’s the real goal.
“Cyber security isn’t about computers it’s about behavior.” Adam Anderson
It’s important to use the tools available to you to protect your business. There’s Dropbox and Google Drive and what about “The Cloud”? The trick is to use the tools correctly.
