Jordan Harbinger On Starting a Business from Zero | Ep. 227

Jordan Harbinger

Jordan Harbinger, the former host of The Art of Charm, made the brave decision of starting over from scratch with his new podcast The Jordan Harbinger Show (JHS). Listen as he shares the lessons and wins on his journey.

“Playing it safe is detrimental to the growth of a business and detrimental to the growth of an individual.” – Jordan Harbinger

Starting from Zero

Jordan Harbinger On Starting a Business from Zero | Ep. 227Jordan started The JHS, a spinoff of The Art of Charm Podcast which he hosted for more than eleven years. It is the second best thing that happened to him since he met his wife.

“Having that decision made for me was actually quite a blessing in disguise.” – Jordan Harbinger on leaving and starting a new show

In the beginning, it was traumatizing for him to launch. But, it gave him the freedom to interview more interesting guests and to explore new horizons.

The JHS Difference

Jordan took 90% of The Art of Charm Podcast team with him when he left. Nothing changed except for the revenue model and the events and products.

“I’m in a whirlwind right now of opportunity that was originally disguised as a whirlwind of ‘What am I going to do? How am I going to pay the bills?'” – Jordan Harbinger

Even if he had to start from zero and rebuild the audience, he enjoys the vast scope of freedom the new show provides. He is now able to contribute to the editorial flow. The overall experience is exciting.

Unlimited Space for Growth

The new show, The Jordan Harbinger Show, also enabled Jordan to give his team more autonomy. They could exercise their strengths and responsibilities freely instead of sticking to the traditional way of doing things.

Jordan is keen on growth. He is willing to take the risks involved in the pursuit of success. And playing things safe, according to him, is detrimental to growth.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
