176 Scott Morris Support Your Local Businesses

Scott Morris

Scott Morris grew up in St. Louis as an avid Blues and hockey fan. He’s taken his love of hockey and sports and found a successful niche by bringing the stadium atmosphere and fan engagement into his bar.

“Sleep more!” – Scott Morris

Serving the Springfield Locals

176 Scott Morris Support Your Local BusinessesScott has been running businesses since his younger years. He has been living at Springfield, Missouri for more than 25 years already.

“Be tenacious, figure out what you want and go for it, it’s the only way you’ll ever be happy even if you fail.” – Scott Morris

He currently runs his own sports bar named Falstaff’s. It is popular among hockey players and fans. But it also caters to the other sports interests of the locals like horse racing.

Bringing the Community Closer

One thing that is unique at Falstaff’s is they have this big screen where everybody in the bar could just look in the same direction.

“I feel sorry for people who don’t drink, because when they wake up in the morning, it’s as good as they’re going to feel all day.” – President L. B. Johnson

They wanted people to get together and really converse with their companions on the table. Every time there is a big game, they show it on the big screen and it just gives viewers the remarkable feeling that they are at the game.

On Underaged Drinking

Scott got to meet with the Community Partnership of the Ozarks regarding underaged drinking. He supports allowing minors to his bar only when they are with adults.

He further talks about a law that allows minors to enter a bar or restaurant by themselves as long as the establishment earns 40% of its sales from products other than alcohol. Unfortunately, many of the establishments do not even have food.

About Jaime Jay

Meet Jaime Jay – a man who wears many hats, and wears them all admirably. He's a master connector, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a published author who knows how to get things done.

Before he found his way to the business world, Jaime served his country as a brave paratrooper in the U.S. Army. But that's just the beginning of his many accomplishments.

He's the founder of the renowned Bottleneck Distant Assistant Services firm, and his book "Quit Repeating Yourself" has become a must-read for entrepreneurs everywhere.

When he's not busy building his empire, you can find him on his beloved Harley Davidson, cruising through the countryside and taking in the invigorating effects of Uitwaaien – a Dutch practice that involves facing the wind to boost health and relieve stress.

He enjoys spending his free time outside building stuff with his wife, Nikita the dog and their two kittens (for now at least) Tommy and Tater.

He is ‘over-the-moon’ happily married to his wonderful wife Sara, his amazing daughter, Jessica, who is serving our country as a United States Army soldier. Jaime and Sara are the proud grand parents of two beautiful little girls.
